It can be difficult to measure this type of activity given that many users will move to research a brand directly after reading about them on Reddit.
While we may not always get the last-touch attribution, there are some things we can measure:
- Reach, engagement and followers of our activity on Reddit
- Uplift in brand search volume in Google
- Uplift in referral traffic and conversions from Reddit
- Community subscribers
As each of these grows it is a sure sign that our activity is driving uplift in engagement with your brand.
Research around product comparisons also suggests that:
- The reach of an Instagram influencer with 100k followers is the same as 6 Reddit recommendations.
- The reach of a TikTok influencer with 100k followers is the same as 8 Reddit recommendations.
In addition, consider also that:
- Brand searches in Google are one the main ranking factors in 2025 – so this activity on Reddit will significantly benefit your SEO efforts.

In total the impacts are wholly significant, but as this is mid-to-lower funnel brand-building activity, you should understand that we might not always be the reported source of many of the conversions we help to drive.
There’s no doubt that some bad actors are using spammy tactics on Reddit to deceive users into buying products they’re compensated for.
However, that’s not the way we believe in doing things.
- We are always completely transparent with Redditors when posting from a brand profile.
- We never pay for upvotes, downvotes or manipulate the content users see in any way that might be considered nefarious. We always follow Reddit’s platform guidelines to the letter.
- Where we might suggest the brands we work with in product comparison posts, we’re essentially just providing a balanced view of their product or service and allowing other Redditors to choose whether or not they agree. This might be through text, image or video insights. In essence, we’re ‘throwing our hat in the ring’ as it were.
For this reason we actively turn away work from brands we don’t believe in, or who have a bad reputation.
We cannot (and would not want to) change the broad consensus of the general public on Reddit.
Typically our team will start with an exploratory call to understand more about your business, your target audience and products or services.
This will allow us to put together a custom proposal, designed to meet your goals and help you make the most of Reddit as a new marketing channel.
Once the campaign goals and scope of work have been defined, we’ll draw up the contract and get to work!
Every campaign will require different levels of resource depending on:
- The size of your audience; number of communities and conversations
- The amount of UGC content required from our creators
- How strict priority communities are regarding brand activity
We also typically offer a few options for clients to decide how aggressively they would like to grow their community and brand on Reddit.

Setting up brands on Reddit takes a lot of planning and investment, especially in the early stages.
For this reason we ask clients to commit to at least an initial 3-month term, so that we have enough time to complete all necessary set-up activities.
This also allows us time to complete enough activity to start demonstrating a return-on-investment through our reporting metrics.
Once the initial term has been completed, we generally move on to a monthly retainer with a 30 day notice period.
